This year the 2017 Penknife Club Memorial Walk will take place on Sunday 30th April. We have decided to use this event for an amazing little fighter “Baby Theo” He was born with a life changing heart condition “Ebstein’s Anomaly” – since his arrival 20 months ago, he has been constantly in and out of hospital for several critical life saving operations because of the effect that this condition has had on the rest of his little body.
It’s a great event for all the family, pushchair friendly and a healthy way to raise some money for this amazing appeal of our choice – more details to follow.
Last year over 50 people joined us on an adventurous day for a fantastic walk and we hope to make this year even better.
The plan so far is to meet at St Davids Rugby Club from 10am ready to set off at 10.30am. We’ll head off on a beautiful scenic 5 mile ish route around the St Davids Peninsula before making our way across to the stunning harbour village of Solva (after several water stops). Once in Solva, we will make our way to the Royal George Inn for a well-earned pint, some food and enjoy the hospitality and entertainment of Barry and Mary .
We do hope you will join us of this wonderful event and help us make a difference to Baby Theo’s life. Read Theo’s story here.
For those who just wish to donate, you can do so on the day and pay a nominal entrance fee, or if you wish to raise some more money please grab a Sponsorship Form here.
